Panel: Student Talent Development
Dear Komma Members,
The Student Union is inviting you for a panel session (incl. free Broodbode sandwiches) to share your thoughts on talent development. The UT wants to expand the support for students to discover and develop their own set of talents. In academic education, much attention is spent on the development of cognitive abilities. But to flourish, in your study, future career and life in general, there are many more important strengths. Therefore the UT wants to develop more possibilities for students to get better insights into their own strengths.
Since the SU wants to work on activities that serve you and help you in your study career, they are asking you a question:
What do YOU need regarding talent development, personal & professional development?
With what personal development issues could you use support? Are you, for example, open to coaching? Do you know where to find support for personal development if you need it? Is there something missing at the UT?
To get an insight into the common needs and wishes of students the SU organises a panel discussion on:
- Thursday 21st of October: lunch break (incl. sandwiches) 12.45 – 13.30 at Ravelijn 4237
Would you like to share your thoughts? Please join the panel discussion! You will also get a delicious Broodbode sandwich and a fresh glass of juice.
To sign up, please send an email to Kirsten Voncken. And bring your housemate, study friend or sports buddy with you! The more opinions the better!
If you like to share your thoughts about talent development but you’re not able to make it the 21st. Please let Kirsten know, she will be more than happy to schedule another meeting to discuss this or read your suggestions via mail.
