Expert talk: Teacher Loes Hogenkamp

🎓 Join Us for an Exciting Expert Talk on Self-regulation

Loes does quite some research about supporting self-regulation for students. And will cover topics such as how a teacher or technology can support self-regulation. As well as finding ways to apply these principles to yourself as a university student. Fun fact, self-regulation is one of the strongest predictors of learning.

Information about the expert:

Loes Hogenkamp works as a lecturer in the Department of Instructional Technology. In 2019, she obtained her bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Twente. In 2020, she completed her master's degree in Learning Sciences at UT, after writing her master's thesis ‘Analyzing Socially Shared Regulation of Learning during Cooperative Learning and the Role of Equal Contribution: A Grounded Theory Approach’. After graduation, Loes started as a Junior Researcher in the ELAN Department at UT, working on the EU-funded project QUASI (Qualitative Analysis of Selfie Impact). In 2022, Loes started as a Junior Researcher at the Department of Working in Education. Here, she conducted practice-based studies on, among other things, teachers' job satisfaction, workload, team-centred working and heterogeneous collaboration.
