JOIN KOMMA in ICE SKATING

Meet your (new) co-students and/or teachers on the ice. 

No matter if you are expert or beginner, student or teacher, it will be fun and you are welcome!

Mission plan:

We will depart from Ravelijn (campus) at 19:00 and cycle together to the Ice skating terminal (2,3 km). The reception opens at 19:30 and we can start fitting our ice skates. 

At 20:00 the ice skating rink opens and we can enjoy our life on ice until closing time at 22:30 (earlier departure is possible of course). At the beginning we will have a (4CID complex learning inspired) moment for the beginners to learn ice skating. There are tools available to keep you standing upright 😉 while practicing...

There are two ice skating rinks, the circle (olympic speed skating 500m) and square (ice hockey). 

 

Costs:

Members: €10

Non-members €15

This includes the renting of ice skating shoes (both speed skates and hockey skates available).

 

Important:

• Inner circle is for experienced skaters, beginners stay on the outside.
• DO NOT go in the opposite direction.
• Wear thick and warm socks.
• MANDATORY: wearing mittens or handgloves. 
• It is possible to walk from Ravelijn (Campus) to the ice skate terminal (2,3 km), but cycling is preferred due to the distance.
